project details

Reel Nomads were commissioned to create a documentary film highlighting the impact and purpose of the National Security Guards. The film was created to become a permanent display at the National Security Guards Museum at its India HQ.

Outcome

This project led us into an exploration of what really does a black cat commando signify and what it takes to be the last line of defence in matters of national security. These were concepts for us, being from a civilian background, we had only experienced this ecosystem through popular books and films until we got this oppotunity to visit and live at their headquarters and film with them through days and nights. Their discipline and their strength was an inspiration for the crew and it formed the very basis of our learning experience.
